This site was intended to be the home of the 2024 Accessible FIFA World Cup Bracket, an accessible site that allows screen reader users to follow the World Cup much more easily than is possible on mainstream sites. Unfortunately I simply haven't had the time to pull it off in 2010. Instead, please check out my Accessibility Review of Leading World Cup Websites.
The lone feature here that is nearly complete is the Talk Page. This page was designed to demonstrate the potential of mashing up the Twitter API and the Google AJAX Language API, and making this all accessible by using the HTML lang attribute to inform screen readers of the language of blocks of text. This should be complete by early July, but you can already play with it. Watch for an upcoming post on my blog that explains this experiment.
